This harness works so well and keeps my big 8 month Bernese mountain dog in check while weāre on walks. The prong collar slowed the pulling down but didnāt stop it. This harness has been a lifesaver.

Big difference between this and a regular collar! No pulling instantly! Walks have become much more calmer and more enjoyable with this collar and i canāt step out without this harness on my dog. Love it!

I have a Chesapeake Bay retriever that is a healthy 60lbs. I got her the medium/large in the dark brown/tan color. She has always pulled me on walks with a regular leash so I used a prong collar for a long time to help with pulling. I know she hated walking with it because she would whine every time I put it on her. This Petsafe harness was a game changer for our daily walks. The harness wraps around the chest and across the shoulder blades. The bottom strap wraps around the arm pit area. No restrictions to the neck so no injuries to the trachea. My dog no longer whines when I put a leash on her. She did not pull the first time I used the harness. We have used it 3-4 times and she still does not pull which makes it more enjoyable to walk. I bought the green one for my Springer Spaniel. He has not pulled on the harness since I got it. He wears a small/medium and he is 35lbs. Would highly recommend purchasing. The only thing I did not like was that the harness will loosen a little after 1 use.

Itās a little awkward because the leash attaches at the chest instead of the neck, but it noticeably reduces pulling without causing discomfort, and itās very easy to put on and adjust. Despite lots of training with treats to walk by my side and doing the whole āstop whenever you feel them pullā shebang, my 7 month old cocker spaniel still excitedly pulls. This worked like a charm on our first walk with it! Iām hoping this will just be a temporary training tool. The small/medium size fit him great with some room to grow.

This harness was a complete game changer for us.I adopted my dog at 11 months old (soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, about 34 lbs), and he had never been on a walk before. He had a backyard but no real exercise or leash experience, so when I first tried walking him, it was constant pulling. I tried the usual training methods (stop and go, correcting, etc.), but nothing workedāhe just kept pulling.After doing some research, I decided to try this harness. Iāll admit, at first I was skeptical because it looks thin, but it works.The front chest clip is everything. The first time I put it on, it took maybe two minutes for him to adjust, and after thatāno more pulling. When he tries, it gently redirects him back toward me instead of letting him drag forward.Now we do nightly walks with zero issues. I havenāt gone back to a regular harness at all.Another huge bonus: itās lightweight and doesnāt cause matting. My dog has long hair, and bulkier harnesses were creating mats, especially when he was pulling. This one is thin but still strong and durable. Iāve had it since March and itās held up perfectly.If you have a dog that pulls, I 100% recommend at least trying this. It made walking enjoyable again for both of us.
